1. Eligibility
Lara membership is open to Indian nationals and NRIs aged 30 to 70 who are genuinely single (never married, divorced, widowed, or separated) and are seeking a long-term relationship or marriage. Membership is granted solely at Lara's discretion, following verification.
2. Application & Verification Process
Registration on this website is an expression of interest only and does not constitute membership. All applicants proceed through a due diligence process, including background and reference verification, a personal interview, a conversation with a family member, and a health check, before a membership fee is requested or membership is confirmed.
3. Consent to Verification & Health Disclosure
By registering, the applicant authorises Lara and its appointed verification partners to confirm the accuracy of the information provided, including identity, marital status, professional and financial standing, and criminal or litigation history, and to request relevant health information as part of the membership process. Lara may decline or revoke membership at any stage if information provided is found to be false or incomplete.
4. Confidentiality
All personal, financial, and health information shared with Lara is held in strict confidence and is used only for verification and matching purposes. No information is shared with other members or third parties without the applicant's explicit, case-by-case consent, other than as required by law.
5. Membership Fees
Verification and annual membership fees are payable only after an applicant is invited to proceed following the introductory call, and are non-refundable once due diligence has commenced, save as set out in Lara's refund policy.
6. Code of Conduct
Members are expected to engage with honesty and respect at all Lara events, escapades, and introductions. Lara reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for conduct that compromises the safety, privacy, or experience of other members.
7. No Guarantee of Outcome
Lara facilitates verified introductions and curated experiences but does not guarantee that any member will find a match, enter into a relationship, or marry as a result of membership.
8. Data Protection
Lara processes personal data, including sensitive personal data such as health information, in accordance with applicable Indian data protection law and its Privacy Policy. Applicants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data, subject to Lara's verification and record-keeping obligations.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai.
10. Acceptance
By ticking “I agree” and submitting the registration form, the applicant confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy in full.
